Studio Policies
Bisque It Pottery cares about our customers and wants everyone to be happy. There are a few policies that must be listed to keep Bisque It the fun, relaxing, family friendly painting studio everyone loves. Please take a moment to read our policies.
Returns
Unfortunately there are no returns on pottery. If there is an issue with a piece we would be happy to help with whatever it may be on an individual basis.
Broken or Damaged Pottery
Customers: If something is broken by accident in the studio we will cover the charge for the first item, any further broken pottery will be paid for by the customer.
Studio: We are only human and sometimes accidents happen with breakable items. We will do our best to offer a replacement or a gift certificate when damage occurs. Often damages are beyond our control due to natural errors in the kiln but we sincerely love our customers and will do our best to fix any damages or to extend a gift certificate or discount for another visit when damages occur. Damages that are incurred by the customer are not our responsibility.
Kids
All children under the ages of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To ensure a calm and relaxing atmosphere for all painters in the studio, running and roughhousing is not permitted. Any pottery broken or damaged as a result of reckless behavior will be paid for at the customers expense.
Hate Speech
Hate speech of any kind, including but not limited to sex, race, religion, politics, etc. will not be tolerated, and will result in the individual being asked to leave the studio. This policy extends to the design of your pottery.
Smoking
No smoking of any kind in the studio or within 20 feet of premises, this includes vaping. Any customer engaging in this activity will be asked to leave the studio, no exceptions.
Food & Drinks
You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. These need to be light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Any food too greasy can cause the glaze not to stick to your pottery resulting in a non food safe item. Contact your local studio for more information.
Reservations
Reservations are not required but highly recommended especially on weekends and holidays. Walk-ins are welcome, but will be first come first serve. If you have made a reservation with our studio, we expect that you will show up within 15 minutes of your reservation time. Tables will not be held for your group longer than 15 minutes past your scheduled arrival time. If you need to make an adjustment to your reservation, please call the studio as soon as it is known and we will happily work with you to arrange a new mutually agreeable date and time whenever possible.
Work In Progress
If you are painting something with us and you do not have enough time to finish we do have a work in progress policy. This will allow you to finish your project at a different time and day. If you choose to do this, you will take your pottery home with you. You will have 90 days, from the date you paid, to finish at no additional cost. After 90 days you will pay $5 per piece each time you return. We will not be held responsible for any damage to a piece, including damage that may show after firing.
Pottery Pick Up and Hold Time
We will attempt to notify each customer one time via text or call regarding pottery pick up. Customers have up to 30 days to return to Bisque It Pottery to pick up your finished artwork. Projects left at the studio for 30 or more days will be considered abandoned and will be donated or discarded. At times, voicemail boxes are full/not set up or text messages are not delivered. It is ultimately the responsibility of the customer to return to the studio for project pick up in a timely manner. If you do not hear from us in 15 days from the time you paint, give us a call and we will be able to confirm the status of your pottery. For parties with one ticket, including birthday parties, we will call or send one text to the host, but we do not text, call or email individuals.
